I always write about everything. Well, these past 3 weeks I've been too busy participating. Making friends, going out, having fun, sometimes just lying down on the grass but I was still too busy enjoying it to come here and write. I wrote in my diary though. I don't want to forget any of this.

How could I explain Alice? I instantly fell in love with that weird campground with dogs and kids running everywhere, people from all around the world. It was more than a campsite, it was some sort of community. Everybody was so nice, I met so many people: Flick, an English hitch-hiker who had so many stories to tell, Tom the ranger, Luke and Ian, New-Yorkers and their travelmate Lara and Shirley, Mel and Angie, French Canadians, Germans, this Australian woman Sonjia and her two amazing kids, Patrick the Irish guitar player and singer, shared a tent with my now travel-best friend, Natalie to try and keep warm (with 5 layers of clothes). Our nights around the campfire with wine and Patrick playing, going to Epilogue, Rock bar and the Casino (the only places to go out, there), getting a lift back from the casino because it's freezing, jumping in Baba's car with 9 other people to go God knows where at 5 am, dancing around singing Game of Thrones, the Fench Embassy... I could go on for hours because stuff happened every day! But anyway, I left, it was heartbreaking but thank God, a few people followed. For the first days after leaving Alice, I didn't realize! I felt like we were going on a road trip and would come back "home".

So right now, there's 6 of us in a dorm and it's Summer camp all over again!  Plan for 3 of us is to get a job and a sharehouse and stay here in Darwin for a little while.
I will take time to write, when I feel like it.
